TEX-ABOTA will hold our 2019 Legislative Cocktail Reception on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, in Austin at 5:00pm at the Headliners Club. It is important for TEX-ABOTA to have a presence in our state legislature, and we would like for all TEX-ABOTA members to make a point of attending this special event.
An invitation was mailed to all of the Representatives and Senators and their staffs and we have already started receiving responses from them.
On the afternoon of January 30th, before the reception, we are gathering to meet briefly and then disburse to the Capitol to call on our legislators. We have booked a room at the Austin Bar Headquarters, 816 Congress Ave, 7th Floor, from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. TEX-ABOTA members are encouraged to stop by for a sandwich while we discuss our talking points and goals before we head to the Capitol.
Please contact your local representatives and those that you know are sponsoring bills of importance to ABOTA, to arrange a time to meet with them or their staff members on the afternoon of January 30th.
