The 7th Amendment Symposium held on Friday, November 12, 2021, was a success with 70 students in attendance. Students were taken through the judicial systems from Justice Court through District Court. They also heard from and visited with judges from each of the courts. The day was capped off with a mock trial where students were lawyers, witnesses, and jurors. They were given a jury charge, retired to the jury room and rendered a verdict.
