Corpus Christi Chapter – Big Bad Wolf Trial

The Corpus Christi ABOTA chapter gave third-grade students from Flour Bluff Elementary School and Incarnate Wood Elementary a real-life civics lesson at the Federal Courthouse. Judge Nelva Gonzales Ramos and her third-grade Magistrate Judge presided over the trial of the Big Bad Wolf, alleged to have murdered two of the Three Little Pigs. Witnesses for the prosecution included the surviving Pig and Little Red Riding Hood. The defense witnesses included Goldilocks and the defendant, Alexander T. Wolf. 12 of the students deliberated finding the Wolf not guilty. Thank you to those Corpus Christi ABOTA members, teachers, and court personnel who believe in the 7th Amendment and teaching our students the importance of jury service.
